Sandisk xD Picture Cards

The Type M card was released in February 2005 and uses Multi Level Cell (MLC) architecture to achieve a theoretical storage capacity of up to 8 GB.

Currently they are available up to 2 GB in size.

Due to changes in the cards' storage architecture over the original xD card (i.e. neither Type M or H) there maybe compatibility issues with some older cameras (especially video recording).

These newer cards are also incompatible with some card readers so please check compatibility before purchasing by consulting the manufacturer of your device.

SanDisk provide the Fujifilm / Olympus xD Picture Card as part of their flash memory range - and it is not possible to specify an Olympus xD card or a Fujifilm xD card with the Sandisk packaging.
