NM00110A: As smart phones get smaller, so do the memory cards they use. Micro-SD is currently the smallest memory card available in the world.

This is the 2nd generation of the SD format, known as SDHC. The original SD format could only go up to 2GB capacity, SDHC was invented as a new format and can reach capacities up to 32GB. This is an 8GB microSDHC card.

It is important to note that older devices designed when SDHC was not around will not work with SDHC cards, even though the cards will physically fit in the slot, it will be incompatible.

Therefore your device should have the SDHC logo on it, or within its instructions, or on the packaging to show it is SDHC compliant, please check this before buying.

SDHC and microSDHC are the same thing, just that microSDHC is a smaller physical size suited to small devices like mobile phones. Hence this pack includes an SD adapter. You can insert the microSDHC card into the adapter and then use it in devices which accept the larger SDHC card.
