Terms and Conditions

To make a purchase just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit and debit card payments via our secure payment service provider as well as PayPal payments and Google Checkout.

Payment is taken when you pay for your goods. If backordered goods are not available we will refund your card if you do not wish to wait or have an alternative product. We will automatically refund your payment if additional items are no longer available.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Your invoice or will be included in your consignment.

Errors and Omissions Excepted on prices, descriptions, specifications, attributes and contents.

Delivery costs will be shown to you in your shopping basket before you pay, after entering your address details.

Tax Charges All orders are subject to the current UK rate of VAT.

If you choose to pay by credit or debit card we take your details over a secure, encrypted connection known as Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This causes the website address to change from http to https. You may also see a graphical representation that the site is secure such as a padlock to be displayed, although this varies from browser to browser.

Please be aware we cannot be held responsible for the postage system.

The Royal Mail should leave a "while you were out card" if no one is available to accept and sign for your order. It then becomes the customer's responsibility to collect the item from their local sorting office. Royal Mail's policy is to return uncollected items to the sender after one week. If we receive your order back because it was not collected by you (the customer) allmemorycards.co.uk cannot be held responsible for the cost of re-delivery.

If an item is lost in post it should be noted that The Royal Mail will not recognise the loss until 15 working days have passed (25 working days for international orders). After 15 working days have passed we (allmemorycards.co.uk) will file a claim with The Royal Mail. The Royal Mail will send you (the customer) a form to confirm the item has not been delivered. PLEASE NOTE it is your (the customer's) responsibility to return the form back to The Royal Mail. Once the Royal Mail has received the form, compensation will be granted to allmemorycards.co.uk. ONLY THEN can allmemorycards.co.uk make recompense to you (the customer) for the loss.

allmemorycards.co.uk reserves the right to change the method of shipment up to the point of despatch. Such an occurrence may be necessary when a customer order is split, i.e. part of the order is on back-order, and a minimal amount is being sent in the first shipment which would be uneconomical to be sent by courier.

Any delivery charges are subject to the current UK rate of VAT.

Please note that post and packaging is a vatable service which includes an element which is vat exempt. The letter of VAT notice 700/24 applies. If the goods supplied are liable for VAT, then ANY postage or delivery charge is liable for VAT at the same rate, even if the cost of stamps from the Post Office are zero-rated.

More information regarding this can be found on the HM Revenue & Customs website here

If you order before 2pm we will ship your order that same day. This results in delivery the next day 95% of the time. It has been know for the Royal Mail to take an additional day to deliver 1st class items.

If you order after 2pm your order may be treated as if it was received the following day and hence be sent only the next day.

Please make allowances for weekends and bank holidays when calculating an expected delivery date.

If your item(s) need to be backordered and there is a delay obtaining your order from our suppliers we will notify you on the 5th working day to keep you informed of the situation and offer solutions to avoid further delays.

If your item is not in stock, we will automatically back order for you.

If we still do not have your goods by the 5th working day you will be emailed with the options to cancel your order and receive a refund if you would rather not wait, or have an alternative, or continue to wait for the goods to become available.
